a little bit about me

Hi, I'm Ashley
I've called the Okanagan home for most of my life, and after having my daughter, I fell in love with photography—especially when it comes to adorable babies. There is just something special about being creative while capturing those sweet moments and making memories that last!

Recently I have also stepped into the postpartum space as support for new mothers, and look forward to beginning this chapter of helping families navigate life with a newborn as a postpartum doula. This also gives me a unique feel for postpartum and motherhood photography in the early days following birth.

Now getting a little bit more personal! Like many, my own journey with home birthing, motherhood, and navigating health care has helped shape my interests. I’m passionate about mother-led birthing and birthing choice, infant and maternal holistic health, and especially breastfeeding, and how women can be supported to mother intuitively. These are near and dear to my heart and I am proud to share that they are some of my values. I am always continuing to learn about herbalism and homeopathy, and women’s health and birth keeping.

In my spare time you will find me reading a book at home with my cats, or somewhere in nature soaking up the sun!
