THE PROCESS - A BRIEF OVERVIEW

MY PHILOSOPHY

Thank you for your interest in a session! My goal is to create artwork with you that will make you feel special, nostalgic, and help you commemorate your family and your matrescence. Family and newborn sessions are baby or child-led and I want you to know that there is no 'perfect' session! Every experience is unique to your family, and honestly quite often a mix of quiet, chaotic, silly, restful, and fun. I do love those perfect posed photos, especially with maternity, but once you bring children into it there will be more candid moments!

RETAINER
Every session requires a $300 retainer to book your spot on the calendar. This goes towards your session cost. Digital images cannot be downloaded until final payments are made. Please note that there are no refunds on retainers - rescheduling will be at my discretion and sessions must be done within six months.

PICK A DATE

I will hold a spot around your due date for a newborn session, and I will be available within 2 weeks of being notified of the birth to be able to schedule the session. For other session types, we will confirm a date ahead of time of course!. Your session type includes a certain number of photos; upgrades to full galleries and with custom artwork are available. Most clients can anticipate spending $600-$1000+ for full sessions.

YOUR VISION

We will discuss your plans and vision for your session(s) and decide on location(s). I can share advice on planning outfits throughout the process. I may ask for pictures of your home to help prepare for an in-home session.

THE SESSION

The day of the session is here and we will create art together! Session time and place will be confirmed a week prior, and no changes can be made after than unless agreed-upon due to inclement weather.

YOUR GALLERY

I will send your proof gallery online within 3 weeks of the session.

ORDERING

Galleries will be held online for 9 days. You will choose your favourites, with the options to upgrade and purchase artwork. Artwork may require an in-person or zoom appointment to confirm details.

IMAGE + ARTWORK DELIVERY

Digital images will be available for download within 24 hours of payment. Artwork orders can be expected to take 6-8 weeks to ship.
