Fall Family Photos in Summerland, BC | Summerland Photographer

Coming up on their little guy's 2nd birthday, I met with the V family for their first professional portrait session as a family! We hit up Sun Oka Beach just before the weather turned too cold.

Add in their golden retriever and we had a little mix of organized chaos, and fun!

As a Summerland Family Photographer, I like family sessions with a toddler to usually focus on following the child's lead. In this case we started with some posed photos (everyone loves some 'looking at the camera' shots!), then pivoted to walking around down to the beach for some in-the-moment photos, and then got a few more posed and very sweet ones at the end. This little guy kept himself happy by picking up rocks, and honestly he was a trooper!
