Spring Photos at the Summerland Ornamental Gardens | Summerland Maternity Photographer

Its no secret, the Summerland Ornamental Gardens is a beautiful location for family photos! Every Spring and Summer I make sure to take my own family photos, and this spot is where we usually end up.

Around mid to late may, this gorgeous tree (I suspect it is an ornamental plum - can anyone confirm?) with pink blossoms blooms.

As much of a tourist location it is, as a local I love wandering through at least a few times a year. If you haven’t been yet, just know that there are lots of grassy areas for kids to wander around and have a picnic, as well as shady spots to get a break from strong sun.

When the roses start to bloom, this is the perfect spot to check out if you love colour and the smell of roses! They have so any varieties throughout the gardens to see.
